Avicularia aurantiaca Care - The Golden Pink Toe should be housed in a vertically oriented arboreal enclosure with excellent cross ventilation, cork bark, artificial foliage, and plenty of elevated anchor points for webbing. Keep the enclosure mostly dry rather than constantly humid, as stagnant, overly damp conditions are far more dangerous than slightly dry substrate. Lightly mist one side of the enclosure about once per week so the tarantula can drink from droplets, and provide a small water dish once the specimen is large enough. Maintain normal room temperatures around 70–78°F, avoid temperatures above approximately 80°F, and feed appropriately sized prey every seven to ten days. Proper airflow is the most important part of successfully keeping this rare and beautiful pinktoe.
