A Drop Dead Gorgeous Species!

The Blue Blaze Tarantula! Infamous for there striking Orange and baby blue coloration the Hon-Sej is quite literally one of the rarest tarantulas in the hobby! With less than 100 individuals currently in the US… it’s practically impossible to find a confirmed female for sale! With that being said the Hon-Sej is a dwarf species from Vietnam and will max out at around 3.5+ inches! But make no mistake, what this beauty lacks is size, she more than makes up for with those drop dead gorgeous colors! This specific specimen is a Sub-Adult female, 3+ inches in DLS and with every single molt those vibrant orange colors are only going to deepen, while the ombré of baby blue will expand, taking up more and more of her carapace and abdomen, resulting in the most unique and spectacular looking tarantulas you ever laid your eyes on! With that being said this girl is only a year old and should reach sexual maturity within the next 6 to 8 months depending on your temps/feeding schedule! I’ve been feeding this girl 2 medium crickets a week, but you could get away with practically any sort of feeder! Care - This is a fossorial old world tarantula that does best in a humid environment. With that being said give this girl at least 3 inches of substrate! You want her substrate to be moist but not soaked!
