Thrixopelma sp. Blue Dwarf {Formally known as Hoemmeoma sp. Blue} This dwarf species of tarantula is known for their small size, docile demeanor and striking blue coloration! Amazingly, Thrixopelma sp, blue dwarf is one of only a select few beginner tarantulas with vibrant royal blue coloration… it’s no surprise why Thrixopelma sp. Blue Dwarf is so sought after! Much like Hoemmeoma specie’s, this docile tarantula is expected to max out at only 3.75 - 4 inches DLS! However, what this adorable tarantula lacks in size she more than makes up for with personality and coloration! Now these well started Juvenile slings emerged from the egg sac just shy of 1/10th an inch! But after raising up these adorable little slings for damn near a year… there finally past the vulnerable stage of there life! Coming in at around .5 - .75 inches DLS these slow growing slings are currently munching on 1 to 2 small crickets a week! With that being said, make sure to keep them in a Semi-arid terrestrial enclosure with a water dish! I like to overfill there water dish once a week to create the perfect amount of humidity for this species! However, the blue dwarf is extremely easy to care for, and you can honestly get away keeping them completely dry with a water dish! Anyways if you have any questions about this one of a kind, extremely docile, New World tarantula feel free to ask!
