Xenenthis intermedia (Venezuelan Blue Bloom)
The Holy Grail of Tarantula Collecting
The Xenenthis intermedia, or Venezuelan Blue Bloom, is an absolute showstopper in the tarantula hobby. With its jet-black body, vibrant neon pink starburst carapace, and remarkable size, this majestic species is considered the ultimate prize for serious collectors. It combines jaw-dropping beauty, a docile temperament, and a ferocious appetite that makes it a joy to care for and observe.
About This Female
This 7-inch adult female is in prime condition, thriving on adult dubia roaches or five large crickets weekly. At around 5 years old, she has a long life ahead, as this species can live up to 25+ years. Her size and striking appearance make her the crown jewel of any collection.
Juvenile Females Available
I also have 2.5–3 inch juvenile females, just 6 months old and growing rapidly. These juveniles will develop their iconic pink starburst carapace within 2–3 molts, ant which they will be around 4 inches in leg span. Perfect for collectors looking to watch their tarantula mature into its full glory.
Breeding Opportunities
Limited males are available for pairing. Mature males display remarkable blueish-purple femurs, making them ideal for breeding projects. Adding a male to your order ensures you have the opportunity to breed this spectacular species. As an added bonus, I will happily buy back spiderlings to help propagate this rare and stunning tarantula within the hobby!
